*Speeds
Speed comparison based on 53 Kbps dialup. Actual speeds may vary. Uninterrupted use of service and speeds are not guaranteed. Usage is subject to the Fair Access Policy. Listed speeds are available only through Hughes' SpaceWay satellite. Most subscribers will have access to the listed speeds.
However, approximately 3% will not be able to receive these speeds because they do not have a line of site to our SpaceWay satellite. In such cases, HughesNet can offer slightly slower Internet access via another satellite with download speeds up to 700 Kbps, 1.0 Mbps, and 1.5 Mbps; and upload speeds up to 128 Kbps, 200 Kbps and 200 Kbps for Home, Pro and ProPlus service plans, respectively.
Actual upload speed will normally be lower than speeds indicated during peak hours. Download speeds may also be temporarily slowed in cases when patterns of system usage exceed the download threshold for an extended period of time. See the HughesNet Fair Access Policy for more information.

Each plan is subject to a daily download threshold as follow: Home 200 MB, Pro 300 MB, ProPlus 425 MB, Elite 500 MB, ElitePlus 500 MB and ElitePremium 500 MB

Provided HughesNet equipment may be new or refurbished. Any refurbished equipment will have the same warranty as new equipment. In the event that you elect the purchase option, and the equipment installed at your location is refurbished, we will provide you with a $25 credit on your first Service invoice.
